The latest reports from the CDC say there’s a total of 380 confirmed and probable cases identified in 36 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The CDC has confirmed six related deaths, a seventh death was reported by public health officials in Tulare County, California & has yet to be confirmed by the CDC.
Vaping has been around for a while and we are just now seeing these reports, so is this New or Something we are just now seeing?
According to Jennifer Layden, chief medical officer of the Illinois Department of Public Health, “I don’t think we can say if it’s a new or newly recognized phenomenon,” although according to preliminary findings, “it does appear to be an increase of cases.”
